A Cool Example to Understand Spending Eternity Knowing God
I mentioned in my second service sermon today that the goal of life is to know God according to Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:17. This will continue in eternity and never end, yet we will never be bored.
As an example, I said consider that when I hold my camera at the mirror- it reflects the first image, but then the camera reflects the image of me holding the camera from the first reflection into a second image and so on without end.
Likewise, I believe with every new insight we receive looking at God face-to-face, He will reflect it back to us with a new depth that causes us to look deeper back into Him. In other words, the more we know about God, the more we will want to know Him and learn new things!
1 Corinthians 13:12, “For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.”
