Abundant Life
The abundant life that Jesus gives is more than just a fantasy or wish- it is a reality. “Jesus’ promise of abundant life, which begins already in the here and now, brings to mind OT prophecies about abundant blessing [found in] Ezekiel 34). Jesus calls his followers, not to a [gloomy], lifeless, miserable existence that squashes human potential, but to a rich, full, joyful life, one overflowing with meaningful activities under the personal favor and blessing of God and in continual fellowship with his people.” (ESV Study Bible)
The Bible teaches three things about Jesus’ abundant life, it is a… “New Life,” “Free Life,” and “Spirit Led Life!”

John 10:10 (AMP), “The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”

Ezekiel 36:25-27, “25 I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. 26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.”
