Four Things I Choose Not To Think About Anymore

Here is a short list (with comical insight) I made after talking to my cable company. The list is basically four things I’m better off not trying to understand or think about. I hope you enjoy it!

  1. CELL PHONE BILLS: Well, thank you! You’re so nice. I get to keep my unused minutes & data now because the other company is competing with you and you don’t want me to leave- why didn’t you offer that to me before I decided to cancel with you guys? What have you been doing with all my unused minutes for the last five years? Can I have those back too?
  2. CABLE PACKAGES & BILLS: So please explain to me one more time how if I upgrade today and sign another 3 year contract to get four cable boxes (when I only need two) with two phone lines (which I’ll never use)- I will pay less?
  3. CRAZY PEOPLE IN TRAFFIC: I’m already going 75mph and driving like its NASCAR, but you really want to take it to another level for one spot in front of me. Seriously? We’re all ready to meet Jesus in my mini-van, are you that ready to die in your Volvo?
  4. FAKE FRIENDSHIPS: Sure. Ofcouse, I understand. You’re just so busy. You’re just a, “busy little bee”- no one could ever possibly expect you to keep your word or make time for others. You have the mayor, Donald Trump, and Brad Pitt on speed dial- I get it. I should just feel honored that you gave me the hope of being your friend- it’s like I was just a poor ole’ lil’ villager and you were the King that gave me a chance to see the palace. And if I hear you talk about me behind my back, that’s okay too, because atleast you’re thinking of me, right?!

If these things (or others like them) have troubled your mind because you can’t understand them, no matter how hard you try. I encourage you to join with me and set your mind on other things. Trust me, you’ll be happy you did!

Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things!”
