Our Heavenly Father
Words cannot adequately depict what it feels like for a loving father to see his child be born. The greatest words of love and expressions of emotion fail to fully describe what a good father experiences with his child during his lifetime. The greatest thing a man will ever do in this life is be a loving father.
Now try to imagine the great love God the Father has for humanity- what boundless emotion and deep connection. The beloved apostle wrote in 1 John 4:16, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” Let us learn to rely upon the great love of the Father as we learn about Him today!

1. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER HAS A KINGDOM
Matthew 6:9-13, “9 Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. 11 Give us this day our daily bread. 12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. 13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.”
2. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER IS A GOOD FATHER
James 1:16-17, “16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.”
3. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER LOVES TO ADOPT
Romans 8:15-16, “15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.”
4. OUR HEAVENLY FATHER SENT JESUS BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU
John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
The greatest gift the Father gave humanity was Jesus. Now it is your choice to accept His invitation to join His family!
