Reason #234 Why I Still Protest the Roman Catholic Church – Sex Scandals
No surprise that we are now being told of one of the most wicked and perverted sex scandals in modern times is happening again in the Roman Catholic Church.
Please know that even though I love Roman Catholics (as some of my family members are RC and some good friends)- I still hate Roman Catholicism.
Paul prophesied that shortly after his life a false movement would come into Christianity. Read below in 1 Timothy how he describes what their behavior would be like.
(Historical Side Note: Remember Roman Catholicism as we know it today didn’t really start until around 590 AD when Gregory the Great took control of the Western churches and it wasn’t until after the Eastern Churches officially broke away in the “Great Schism” in 1054 that Roman had all the control it needed to go off the rails.)
1 Timothy 4:1-3, “1 The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons (CHECK 1). 2 Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron (CHECK 2). 3 They forbid people to marry (CHECK 3) and order them to abstain from certain foods (CHECK 4), which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.”
CHECK 1: Rome teaches to pray to saints and make idols of them just like pagans do inspired by demons. Just because you pray and kiss the statue (idol) of someone in the Bible doesn’t make any less idolatrous- God said make no graven images- period.
CHECK 2: Rome’s hypocrisy is worse than Islam- at least Muslims don’t try and hide their disgusting behavior in Muslim lands- they act just as wicked as their false prophet Mohammed. However, the leadership of Rome has pretended to be like Jesus and the Apostles, the holiest people that walked the earth- yet they are filled with every kind of disgusting sin. Click here just for a few examples- especially among popes on how bad they’ve been throughout the years.
CHECK 3: The number one reason why Rome’s priests have so many perverse behaviors is because they go against natural desires. Yes, God may call some people to be single, but it is not a requirement of being an elder– after all Peter was married!
CHECK 4: Rome has forbidden meat on Fridays and during Lent for no biblical reason- this is just a sign of them playing make-believe. Jesus said in Mark 7:13, “Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
CHECKS 5,6,7,8,etc..: Not to mention, confession of sins to priests, the false belief about purgatory, the ridiculous superstitious traditions they teach (feeding people communion, having altar boys, kissing images/Bibles, keeping dead priests embalmed in churches, worshipping relics, etc.) and many other unbiblical things.
Yes, the Roman Catholic Church has done some good, but dear God, please do something about these wicked scandals so that they never happen again. And if you are a Roman Catholic my question to you is, “Have you been born again?” Because Jesus said in John 3:3, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”
The one thing Jesus said you must do to enter the Kingdom of God is the very thing you are never taught in mass- therefore, I plead with you;
1. Repent of your sins (including belonging to a wicked and false church).
2. Accept Jesus as the Lord of your life.
3. Join a good Bible teaching church and be an obedient disciple of Jesus Christ (i.e., “Follow Jesus’ teachings, not the traditions of sinful men”).
