The Painter and The Baker
“The painter knows not who will one day buy and admire his master piece, yet he paints each day until his work is done. The baker doesn’t know which costumers each day who will eat and enjoy his bread, yet he makes it tasty and satisfying.
So is true with the gospel preacher, they know not who will see the beauty of Christ crucified in the words they preach and admire Him forever or who will be filled with the Bread of Heaven and hunger no more- yet the preacher is faithful to give their service to whomever will listen.”
