2023 End of the Year Review
Dear World Changers,
Thank you for all your financial support this past year as we, “Loved GOD and Loved PEOPLE!” Your gifts of generosity made the difference and allowed us to “CONNECT people to the cross,” “MENTOR disciples,” and “SEND out leaders to disciple and evangelize the nations.” In 2023, we baptized 13 new believers, we ended the year with 142 committed disciples, we averaged over 180 in our services, and we ordained 5 new disciple-making deacons. As of today, we have a church with over 65% of our attendees in discipleship thus we are fulfilling the Great Commission- Praise the Lord!
We added 2 new life groups in 2023 for a total of 16 life groups altogether hitting a monthly average of 245. By God’s grace, we completed our 2nd year of Legacy Ministry College and currently have 30 enrolled students. God is good! Over the summer we were able to send both our children and youth to summer camp, and the youth attended their annual mission trip to Dallas. Plus, we have been faithful in preaching the gospel across the City of Chicago with our ministry truck. In 2023, our evangelism team completed Mission 77 where they brought the gospel to all 77 neighborhoods of Chicago, we partnered with Love Life, a powerful abortion ministry that has been used in saving 30 babies from abortion in Chicago this past year, and we began a new ministry called Kingdom Therapy that reaches the homeless community of Chicago with the love of Christ. We also rejoice in God’s faithfulness for our churches in Dallas and Miami!
To fund the ministry, we graciously received $412,902.25 in tithes and offering. We raised $36,930.47 for missions to touch the world with the love of Jesus and raised $16,415.82 for the building fund to supply the needs of the church building. We as a church gave away $67,949.24 to help show the Kingdom of God in a tangible way in our community, around the U.S., and abroad. Also, MPI Church purchased a new van which has blessed our children and youth in providing transportation to camps, mission trips, and weekly rides to youth group.
By God’s grace, in August, we hosted a powerful 3-day evangelism outreach to Lollapalooza and over 266 people attended over a 3-day period. God truly met our needs and gave us more than enough. Thank you for all your love and support this past year and we pray that God will richly bless you with the desires of your heart as you seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
