2024 Year in Review!
Dear World Changers,
Thank you for all your financial support this past year. Together, we have truly “Loved GOD and Loved PEOPLE!” Your generous gifts made the difference and allowed us to “CONNECT people to the cross,” “MENTOR disciples,” and “SEND out leaders to disciple and evangelize the nations.” In 2024, we baptized 30 new believers, we ended the year with 172 committed disciples, we averaged 205 in our services, and we ordained 5 pastoral elders, 1 governing elder, 4 new disciple-making deacons, and 3 Jr. deacons into Elevate youth group.
As of today, we have a church with 79% of our attendees in discipleship thus we are fulfilling the Great Commission- Praise the Lord! We ended 2024 with a total of 13 life groups hitting a monthly average of 262, and we launched The Reach, a powerful ministry aimed at reaching young adults in Chicago with the gospel. By God’s grace, we successfully completed our 3rd year of Legacy Ministry College, with our first graduate earning their B.A. in 2024. We also had 3 SUM graduates, two earned their B.A. and one earned their M.A. God is good! Over the summer we were able to send our children to camp, and our youth participated in a mission trip in New Orleans. We have also been faithful in preaching the gospel across the City of Chicago. In 2024, our evangelism team led multiple outreaches each month, and we partnered with Love Life, a powerful ministry on reaching abortion-minded individuals, which helped save 20 babies from abortion in Chicago this past year. MPI Church also had the honor of hosting a baby shower for one of the mothers who chose life.
To fund the ministry, we graciously received $456,510.79 in tithes and offering. Additionally, we raised $36,871.52 for missions to touch the world with the love of Jesus and raised $13,558.55 for the building fund to supply the needs of the church building. As a church, we gave away $72,439.20 to help show the Kingdom of God in a tangible way in our community, around the U.S., and abroad.
By God’s grace, in August, we hosted our annual 3-day evangelism outreach at Lollapalooza, with a combined total of 409 in attendance over the 3 days. We also held a block party for our church community that reached over 200 people with the love of Christ. God truly met our needs and gave us more than enough. Thank you for all your love and support this past year and we pray that God will richly bless you with the desires of your heart as you seek first His Kingdom and righteousness. Matthew 6:33, “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
